From a Pride celebration to a Splash Bash, the City of Solon is bringing residents together all month long

The City of Solon has four free community events scheduled throughout June, offering something for residents of all ages and backgrounds. Pride Celebration at the Community Center On Sunday, June 14, the Solon Community Center will host a family friendly Pride event from 1 to 4 p.m. The free afternoon will feature music, activities, local resources, and opportunities to connect with and show support for LGBTQ+ community members and allies. Juneteenth Concert at Bicentennial Park Thursday, June 19, brings a Juneteenth celebration to Solon Bicentennial Park starting at 6 p.m. The free event will feature a live concert with Ryann Anderson and Apostle Jones. The evening is designed to celebrate freedom, culture, and community. Sensory Friendly Fire Station Open House The Solon Fire Department will host a Sensory Friendly Open House at Fire Station 2 on Thursday, June 25. Visitors can explore the station, meet firefighters, and learn about fire safety in a calm, inclusive environment. This event requires an RSVP at https://shorturl.at/fTfgy. Splash Bash Returns June 28 The popular Splash Bash returns Sunday, June 28, at the Solon Community Center Outdoor Pool from 1 to 5 p.m. Residents can enjoy a live DJ, food trucks, and inflatables.
