On June 29, 2026, at 1:32 a.m., officers conducted a welfare check at a home on Linden Drive following a report of a domestic dispute. A 36-year-old female resident initially left the home with her 8-year-old child, informing officers that only a verbal argument had occurred. However, she returned to the station at 10:18 a.m. to report that her 32-year-old boyfriend had threatened her with a firearm before her departure. A background check revealed the suspect was subject to a June 9, 2026, protection order from Bedford Court that barred him from possessing firearms. Solon officers obtained warrants and arrested the suspect the following morning. A subsequent search warrant of the residence led to the recovery of two loaded revolvers and one loaded semi-automatic pistol.
